Qualifications

It is a global accreditation granted by the World Customs Organization (WCO) whose main objective is to ensure agile, transparent and secure trade. In Colombia it is granted by the DIAN and the companies that obtain it are classified as safe and reliable commercial operators throughout their international supply chain.
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is an audit methodology that covers areas such as labor standards, health and safety and environmental management. The result of this audit is recorded on the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, or Sedex to cut it short, which is a globally renowned online platform that enables its members to provide customers and partners with detailed information on their social and ethical performance. The purpose is to ensure greater transparency throughout the supply chain.

 

Recognitions

In 2017 Flores El Capiro won the “Gold Awards” in the category of Cut Flowers and was named as best producer of the year with the “Gold Rose” award presented by International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), Essen Germany.
The British supermarket chain awarded in 2009 Flores El Capiro as best producer of the year.
The DFG is one of the largest suppliers of flowers in the world for retailers and wholesalers. In 2007 it awarded Flores El Capiro as the best world supplier for them.
It is the largest floral fair in Latin America and the meeting point for the flower industry. This commercial event takes place every 2 years in Colombia, Flores El Capiro has won best variety grower in its category for several times. Also has won the award of best stand.
